A Sheridan Commander in Vietnam

An old acquaintance of mine was a Sheridan Commander in Vietnam.

He told me the heat and humidity really played hell with the "Systems".

One day they were trying to troubleshoot a glitch in the electric firing mechanism on the 152.
In another instance of not keeping track of things they had left a Flechette round in the gun.

When he made the system "Hot" the gun went off and the Flechettes "Aerated" a barracks.

Fortunately it was during the drawdown and the Building was Empty.
